How we do it

How we do it

The process is actually quite simple.  After the preliminaries are taken care of and the contract is written, we get right to work.

During the entire process, we make every effort to maintain as clean a work environment as possible.  But unfortunately, resurfacing IS a major project, and there will be a certain level of noise, dust and debris.  We like to say that the process is ugly, but the end result is beautiful!

STEP 1:  We’ll meet with you to discuss your pool, chose a color and answer your questions.

STEP 2:  We measure your pool to determine the area.  This enables us to quote a price.

STEP 3:  We’ll write a contract and put your pool into scheduling.

STEP 4:  Your pool is drained to a sewer cleanout.

STEP 5:  We’ll evaluate your pool, filter, plumbing and other equipment to make sure that it is in proper working order.

STEP 6:  We then chip out the existing surfaces to set the stage for the new surface.

STEP 7:  We diagnose your pool to make sure it is ready for the new surface.  We look for issues such as problems with plumbing, cracks, structural damage, etc.  If repairs are need, we will bring this to your attention as soon as possible.

STEP 8:  The new surface mixture is installed and troweled to form a uniform base surface.
